Ryan 'freakazoid' Abadir will stand-in for Splyce at DreamHack ZOWIE Open Austin due to Abraham 'abE' Fazli having other commitments during the $100,000 event.
Splyce were part of the three North American region teams (alongside Tempo Storm and NRG) invited to DreamHack Austin following the withdrawal of European outfits due to a busy event schedule.
However, due to the abrupt nature of the invite, it was revealed that Splyce player Abraham "abE" Fazli had already made vacation plans for that time period unbeknownst of the event and long before the team were invited.

As a result, Splyce have decided to attend the event with a stand-in in the form of Ryan "freakazoid" Abadir, who formerly played for Cloud9.
Known as a fearless entryfragger to some, and as a tormentor of teenagers to others, freakazoid parted ways with Cloud9 this month after being a part of that organisation since his return to competitive play in April 2015.
Splyce's roster at DreamHack Austin will be:
David "DAVEY" Stafford
Andrew "Professor_Chaos" Heintz
Jason "jasonR" Ruchelski
Arya "arya" Hekmat
Ryan "freakazoid" Abadir (stand-in)
DreamHack ZOWIE Open Austin will run from May 6-8 at Austin's Convention Center and divvy up $100,000 in prize money while representing DreamHack's first event in North America.
Abe is unable to attend Dreamhack Austin with us so @freakazoid_tv will be standing in.
